Strongylurini are a group of parasitic nematodes that feed on plant cells, typically in the root system or leaves of host plants. They are closely related to the black-naped nematode (Neuropterus) and the strongyloid nematode (Solenopsis). Strongylurini can cause severe damage to plants by feeding on the plant's tissues, leading to structural changes and eventual death.
