Pseudocercosporidium is a genus of bacteria that causes pseudorabies, a severe, deadly disease in cattle and sheep. It is primarily transmitted through contaminated feed or water. The bacterium can also infect humans and cause pseudomonasemia, a condition characterized by abdominal pain and fever.
