Phalangiinae are a family of marine fish that belong to the order Chondrichthyes, commonly known as dorid sharks. They are found in the Indo-Pacific region and include species such as the bluefin tuna (Tuna pinguiculatus) and the yellowfin tuna (Tuna tucana).
