Morwennius, also known as a "cavalier," was an early Christian missionary who traveled extensively in Gaul and Italy during the Roman Empire. He is famous for his extensive correspondence with the emperor Marcus Aurelius, which helped spread Christianity to new areas and reinforced the influence of the Church on the region.
