Hannukkah is a Jewish holiday celebrated in the month of Nisan, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles. It commemorates the miracle of the burning of the menorah (oil lamp) on the 25th day of Nisan, which led to the creation of the Temple in Jerusalem.
