Cyanoramphus, also known as purple-flowered plantain, is a genus of flowering plants in the family Fabaceae that are native to South America and Central and South Africa. These plants have a deep purple color due to their leaves which contain pigments called anthocyanins. The leaves are covered with minute hairs and are used for medicinal purposes.
