Cratocechenus is a genus of extinct chelonian dinosaurs that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, which spans from approximately 245 million years ago to about 180 million years ago. These creatures were characterized by their large jawbones and sharp teeth, as well as a distinctive long neck.
