Bvdv-2 🔍

BVDV-2 is a rare form of genetic disorder in humans, characterized by severe abnormalities in the DNA replication and repair mechanisms. It is caused by mutations in the BVDG gene, which codes for a protein that regulates the activity of a specific enzyme called DNA polymerase II. This mutation leads to a decrease in the function of this enzyme, making it unable to properly replicate DNA strands.
