Analloptes is a genus of extinct mammals that lived during the Triassic period, approximately 259-227 million years ago. They were characterized by their large, elongated skulls with flat noses and short limbs, which allowed them to move quickly through the sand dunes of the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods.
